Aidan Lynn Smith (He/Him/His) is a designer, educator, and technician with over eleven years of professional experience. He is a hard worker who brings rhythm, creativity, and a lively groove to every project he takes on.
​Additionally, Aidan is a Resident Lighting Designer for Ma'at Production Association of Afrikan Centered Theatre (MPAACT) and has worked on many productions in Chicago in differing capacities. He was formerly a Resident Lighting Designer for The Playhouse at White Lake from 2015 to 2021.

Aidan currently serves Lake Forest High School as their Technical Director where he proudly designs and teaches the future generation of artists. He is a believer that the arts belong to everyone and through collaboration we can achieve the best results.
